One Arts Gold Coast hosts a monthly Artist in Residence program designed to help emerging artists take their art to the next level. Our mission is to support creativity and foster sustainable art careers within the Gold Coast.
Whether you’re an emerging talent or an established artist looking to expand your reach, we’d love to help you achieve your goals.
How it works
Each month we select an early or mid-career artist to participate in our Artist in Residence program. The successful artist will have the opportunity to professionally hang their artworks in our gallery and hold community workshops.
If you’re an emerging artist, consider this a stepping stone to working professionally in the creative arts industry. Or if you’re an established artist, this program can help revitalise your career. Over the years, many artists have successfully built more sustainable careers after participating in our program.
What’s Included:
- Professional exhibition, opening event and exhibition support.
- Marketing promotion to our extensive local network. Including: digital flyers, social media posts and exposure to our extensive community art database.
- Networking opportunities with other artists and art enthusiasts.
- Career development and mentorship.
