One Arts Gold Coast hosts a monthly Artist in Residence program which supports artists in learning what they need to do to get their art ‘out there’. It is the main program held at One Arts which is in line with their mission statement. ‘Through our community of creative people, we will promote the Gold Coast as a focal point for the arts, generating sustainable opportunities for artists whilst achieving cultural and creative awareness through the arts’.
Artists can book for monthly residency, and we will assist them with showcasing their artworks with professional hanging, marketing with digital flyers and promotion through our social media channels and our extensive database. Many of our artists, once they have done a residency have been able to develop a more sustainable art career as well as networking with other artists.
